Documentary Evidence

A key principle behind claiming deductions is the need to obtain written evidence of the expense. Generally this is in the form of a receipt or invoice and needs to include: the name of the supplier; $ amount; details of goods or services and date. Please ask us for assistance with keeping log books and diaries to calculate deductible amounts.
